The small village of Cossogno is situated few kilometres from Verbania on Lake Maggiore.
From Milan and from Turin:
by using the motorway A26 Genoa-Gravellona Toce, direction Gravellona Toce: exit at Bavena-Stresa or Verbania. Alternatively, from Milan it is also possible to exit at Arona and carry on to the SS 33 (Sempione), by skirting Lake Maggiore.
From Switzerland and from Germany:
to Domodossola from the Sempione Pass, by carrying on the superstrada E62 or on the SS 33, direction Verbania; or from Locarno (CH), by skirting Lake Maggiore up to Verbania
From France:
from the Mont Blanc tunnel, by following the motorways: A4 Torino-999 Milano up to the A26 Genova-Gravellona Toce. Then take the A26 direction Gravellona Toce up to the exit Verbania.
With the Ferrovie dello Stato on the line Milano-Domodossola, by getting out at the station Verbania Pallanza fraz. Fontodoce. Cossogno is connected with the Verbania Pallanza station by a bus, but with few daily runs.
